Cecilie Juvodden managed to bring quite an audience to Oslo conference centre to view her ladies wear for fall 11. Functional and stylish items worn with classic handbags, and black riding boots walked down the crowded runway the third day of Oslo Fashion Week.
Maggie Wonka represents all ages, and Cecilie’s inspirations for the collection were her own customers. The line had 50s and 60s impression; however animal prints and over-sized hats gave modern twist. Jackets with belts, pencil skirts and empire-cut dresses worn by models gave the impression that Cecilie wanted to create an ideal woman – a strong, beautiful and sexy housewife.
The shapes of the collection were plentiful, for example; V-neck dresses, and ruffled skirts. Finally, Juvodden’s own interpretation of the little black dress – which came not in one version, but in three individual designs. The audience, among them Petter Pilgaard, Camilla Pihl and Henriette Steenstrup, looked impressed after the show had ended.
