Nina Jarebrink – enduring

Last night’s show was opened by none other than the talented Norwegian singer, Lise Karlsnes.

Performing two songs in the drizzling rain, and effectively warming up the crowd outside Steen & Strøm Magasin down town, miss Karlsnes ´ always rock-cool attitude gave a little “uumph” to what was stored next in line. Being a long-time favorite among top stylists and edgy celebrities, there were plenty of them present to see Nina Jarebrink´s SS11 collection.

If you don’t already, you can for sure look forward to next spring. Book a flight to somewhere tasteful and glamorous, like south of France for instance, where classy meets city chic. To best describe the collection, picture this; a mix between a modern version of Jackie O, a sassy pose from a James Bond movie, and a swirling J & F Martell Cognac. Apart from having the letter J in the pieces, Nina Jarebrink´s collection oozed of an unrivalled quality which every confident woman would like to dress herself in.

Nina Jarebrinks SS11 indulges through colours such as the black and classic, the white and pure, the smooth mocha, the deep blue sophistication, elegant denim and rounds up with the silky light peach, all accompanied with gold necklaces, belts and bags. A pleasurable touch of the alluring 90´s and a praise to the self-assured woman, which lastly has been known to become the designer´s signature.

A trustworthy future for the fascinating woman, but also indeed, of the designer Nina Jarebrink.
