Cropped pants and casual wear
As usual on the opening day, we have the local celebrities – Charlotte Thorstvedt, Jenny Skavlan, Pia Haraldse , Mariann Thomassen among others, as well as designers, fashion editors and let’s not forget the bloggers.
After watching the collections from 14 designers, the overall impression of this season’s style is casual and aimed for those who are not looking for high fashion.

Moods of Norway are definitely expecting high tides with their cropped pants, whilst this season’s debutant is going for the more casual and laid back style – especially for the menswear.
Speaking of Moods of Norway. Changing designer for the womenswear has definitely paid off. The one item we got a sneak peek at was very exciting and looks most promising.

It looks like the Norwegian designers are going main stream to appeal more towards the average buyer. Except from L&J, Lillunn design and iiS of Norway was the only designers that stood out from the crowd. Lillunn’s knitwear definitely has an edge to it, with a hint of Norwegian heritage, and iiS of Norway with their fresh blouses, skirts and funky stone washed jeans.
