Bik Bok launches Five by Five design competition
Bik Bok announced in December their latest project Five by Five, a designer competition where the winner will be offered a one year trainee position at Bik Bok.

Bik Bok is one of Norway’s biggest fashion brands and is known for using guest designers. Just recently they launched their second collection designed by Jenny Skavlan.

The project is meant to create focus on young talented designers in Scandinavia and 5 young designers will be given the chance to design and produce their own collection with BIK BOK for Fall 2011.

The criteria’s for participating is pretty straight forward. You’ll have to submit illustrations, colour palette for the collection, qualities and details, a mood board and sketches with a short inspirational text and of course a catching name for the collection.

The jury, which of course consists of five members, are:
Vanessa Rudjord — chief editor at COSTUME magazine
Kenneth Pedersen — managing director at ANTI/ANTI SWEDEN
Hege Aurelie Badendyck — stylist at COSTUME magazine
Nina Granerød — creative director at BIK BOK
Juryens formann — René Høgsted — buying director at BIK BOK

If you feel that this is something for you, then you do not have much time – the application deadline is set to 1st of February.
