Fam misses the parties
Daniel Franck
-Fam is a real artist, she creates a special fantasy world. She is truly faithful to her own ideas and I love that she is so unafraid and just does her own thing.
There is always a good vibe on her shows. When it comes to the focus on cigarettes I don’t think that we are supposed to always understand everything.

-I love Fam Irvoll, I think this certain show tells me that she’s got the pregnancy syndrom going on, and that she maybe misses a party. I think the smoking statement is a fantastic promotion!
Edna Falao
-The presentation was fabulous, the Norwegian models are so beautiful and i actually think that they can walk the walk.
I don’t like smoking around children, and i am not a smoker myself. Then again, I think that there are too many pointing fingers when it comes to controversial statements, so i don’t really mind that much that she is bringing it into the show.
After the show we also talked to the designer herself, and asked her a couple of questions.
-My inspiration was Pop arts and Dick Tracy. I am making clothes that i would like to wear myself. This line is not made for mainstream – it’s more of an art directed line.
What about the cigarettes?
-The reason that I brought cigarettes into the show is just because it belongs to the certain period that I got my inspiration from. The cigarette-smoking was part of the picture at that time. It’s not about encouraging people to start smoking, nor making a statement. If there is something I want to say about this collection it must be that I miss a party!
