Mote med Mening – 5th year anniversary
For the 5th annual year the charity foundation Mote med Mening (Fashion with Meaning) was held in Fabrikken at Vulkan.

600 fashion savvy people were gathered around a very red catwalk to see the latest fashion trends and hair styles. This year the charity went to BAR, an organization for children of drug addicts.

As charity goes, many artists had said yes to perform on stage – the ever lovely Samsaya, Margaret Berger, Rikke Lie and Anine Stang were some of the artists.

One of the highlights of the evening was the fashion show from Tina Haagensen. We also got to see a vintage show by Velouria Vintage in collaboration with Olimb & co.

New this year, was the Mote med Mening award – an award given to someone who works within the fashion industry and has shown commitment in helping the environment, human rights, fairtrade and / or aid work. And this year’s winner was the talented designer Leila Hafzi.
