Vikse’s «debut» at Oslo Fashion Week
Kristine Vikse showed a romantic collection where the 70’s utility meets the Nordic nomad. With references from the 40′s where traditional work-wear meets glamour.
As an inspiration for this seasons collection, Vikse has found inspiration in and the Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman and legendary actress Katharine Hepburn
The collection showed straight and simple silhouettes and slightly A-line shaped dresses. Knitted dresses, oversized cardigans, kaftans, maxi dresses and the basic line in merino wool was dominant in the collection.
Dresses and blouses from woven viscose combined with coarse knitted cardigans and high heels made it all very simple but still very feminine.
The colors that characterized the collection was mostly burned earth tones, mahogany, denim blue, and mint green, gray and black. Even some dip- dye effects on maxidresses.
